This elimination night on “Dancing with the Stars” was full of surprises and wonderful entertainment. Starting the evening was the encore performance of last night’s Argentine tango by Kirstie and Maks which was even more stunning the second time around! Hines and Kym as well as Kirstie and Maks were announced safe. Following this declaration was the beautiful duet by Delta Goodrem and Michael Bolton in which Anna and Dmitry performed beautiful choreography.
The inspirational dance feature was the Tuita Brothers. They lost the biggest fan, their father, to a massive stroke not too long ago but persevered through it with dance. The eldest brother, Hefa, stepped up to help his mother provided for his younger brothers as well as pay for the continuation of dance lessons. He is currently on tour with Chris Brown’s dance company. The choreography was cute as well as stirring.
A comical feature this week was the “Dance Center” which critiqued all of the dancers. Some of the comments were downright hysterical. Adele performed “Rolling in the Deep” from her newly released album “21.” I love this song and it was a fantastic performance.
Mark and Chelsea were announced safe, leaving Romeo and Chelsie and Ralph and Karina standing and facing elimination. It was Rome and Chelsie who got axed this week in the stunning results, bringing everyone in the audience to their feet and confused looks on the judge’s faces are I am certain they thought it would be Ralph and Karina would be eliminated after his injury performances last night! This just goes to show you how important those votes are and anything can happen at this stage of the competition.
