Kelly Clarkson Releases Album, Announces Tour, and Goes ‘Unplugged’

November 20, 2011 By

Kelly Clarkson has made a huge splash on the music scene lately with the release of her latest album, “Stronger.” The album was released last month and has so far done very well, debuting at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and #2 on the Digital Albums Chart. Kelly’s fans will have a chance to see her perform the new music soon, as she also just announced the dates for her Stronger Tour 2012. The tour will kick off in North America, beginning in Mashantucket, CT on January 13, with Matt Nathanson as her support act.

Can’t wait for the tour and want a preview of Kelly performing some of her latest music? Then you are in luck because she also recently taped five songs for a VH1 Unplugged special. The show aired on November 18, but if you missed it, the performances are now available online. Watch Kelly sing her hit single “Mr. Know It All” as well as the four other songs on the VH1 website.

Kelly Clarkson is the first to emerge from the hit TV talent competition American Idol and become a superstar. Now, with the show about to begin its 11th season, Kelly is “Stronger” than ever before.

After listening to the title track “Stronger” it is obvious that Kelly is back with a vengeance. Her vocals are powerful and the lyrics provide an empowerment message to anyone moving on after a relationship breakup. What do you think of Kelly’s album – is it her strongest yet?
