“America’s Best Dance Crew” (ABDC) Will Be Auditioning for Season 7 Beginning After the Holidays!

Are you a fan of “America’s Best Dance Crew,” the wildly popular dance reality show which is promoted by Randy Jackson of “American Idol” and aired on MTV? The past two seasons have seen appearances which have seemed to progressively top one another beginning with the youngest team last season (Iconic Boyz) and the first season hallmark winners, Jabbawockeez, who are a one of the most unique dance crews with their own show in Las Vegas. Dominic “D-Trix” Sandoval, former member of season three winners, Quest Crew, and “So You Think You Can Dance” contestant lent a lot of insight and positive support for fledgling crews seeking to win the title last season.

Auditions for the new seventh season of “America’s Best Dance Crew” which is hosted by Mario Lopez will begin after the first of the year. According to the official casting website, now is your time to sign up your crew to reserve a priority audition spot at Chicago, Houston, New York, or Los Angeles. Although they are looking for ALL AGES and ANY COMBINATION of males and females regardless of size, they do request your individual group be prepared with a routine that between 5-7 members can perform if asked to represent for smaller venues.

“America’s Best Dance Crew” is open to all forms of dance and has promoted such forms in the past as pole-dancing, clogging, roller-skating, and crumping in addition to the traditional hip hop and precision. Could it be possible this season might bring Bollywood, ballet, or even tap to the stage? Will the younger generation rule once more or will “old school” pull out the stops? As fans anxiously await a new season of ABDC to begin, this is where it all starts…the auditions! Check out the audition schedule and information on how to request your spot for a chance to “bring it.”
