Dr. Oz Today 2/6/2012: 5 Fat Busters For 5 Different Body Types

Doctor Oz is talking about how to target your diet today based on what your specific body type needs to shed those pesky pounds. The show opens with Oz saying that everyone can change their body shape in 5 days. He says that science has proven that fat can be targeted by replacing one meal a day and tell the body to melt away the pounds. For a big bottom, the red clover meal is designed for busting bottom fat. Pasta primavera with whole grain pasta, edimame, and red clover tea tea. You should have 2 cups of red clover tea with this meal. For a big belly, Oz says by trimming 2 inches from your waste, you will decrease your chance of disease by 50%. The meal is called the CLA breakfast. It is eggs, cheese, avocado, tomato and use CLA capsules. You need 1000mg of CLA daily. For women who are big on top, the L Carnatine lunch will boost your metalbolism. Make a salad with corn, black beans, sour cream and use an L Carnatine supplement. Big thighs are a common problem in women and is one of the toughest things to lose. To get rid of big thighs, you should eat a liquid lunch with whey protein, banana, flaxseed, and blueberries. If you don’t want to make this you can use a whey protein drink.

Lisa Lynn is on the show now and they are talking about Raspberry Ketones. Edipo Nectin is a hormone that tricks your body to make it think it is thin. Oz gives us a demonstration on how Raspberry Ketones actually make your cells get rid of fat. These are available online and you need about 100mg at breakfast. You would have to eat 90 pounds of fresh raspberries to get the same amount of the Ketone in the pills. Oz points out that this will help you but permanently losing weight is a lifestyle change and you can’t just rely on a pill.

Stacy Cox is the next guest and she is talking of how to look thinner with your wardrobe. She gives tips on how to accent your good parts while hiding your problem areas. Stacy says this will give you instant confidence and actually help you in keeping your diet on track. Oz has some of the audience volunteer for a makeover and the transformations are amazing. Stacy says the key to losing weight is feeling good about yourself and by changing your look to highlight your good parts, you will be more likely to succeed in your goals.

In the fourth segment, Oz shows us how to eat healthy at your favorite restaurants. Scott Conant and Danielle Freeman go to some big eateries and pick their favorites. Applebee’s sizzling asian shrimp has only 470 calories and is great. Olive Garden’s venetian apricot chicken has only 400 calories and 7g of fat. Ruby Tuesday’s spaghetti squash marinara is a healthy veggie alternative. Red Lobster’s rock lobster tail has only 150 calories and 4g of fat. Pizzaria Uno has a Mediterranean thin crust pizza that has great flavor and is healthy. Eating these will keep your diet on track and let you go out to eat every once in a while.

The final segment has Cindy Watson and she has 5 products to make you look beautiful. Tinted SPF moisturizer protects and hydrates your skin. Mascara gets your lashes longer and thicker. Lip/Cheek stain can be used to tint your cheeks and can double as lip stick. Nail Polish will keep older nails looking good. A finishing spray for your hair will keep your hair shiny and healthy looking.

As the show ends, Doctor Oz gives us one more tip. Add 1 tsp of cinnamon to your diet every day to regulate your diet and blood pressure.. For more information on any of the topics discussed today, visit Dr. Oz’s web site by following the link below.

Could a person with big belly, big thighs, big behind, big belly and big top use all these products, diets mentioned as a combination? Would this help speed the process?

  2. Joe says

    Hi Dr. Oz
My name is Joe and im a male and I was just wondering if this could work for men to?
I am very heavy and I have heart problems.

  3. Pam says

I too am confused about what the 5th body type was and suggestions for it. I’m thinking I must be the 5th type as I didn’t fit into any of the others. How can we see that part of the show? Also, if you are lactose intolerant how do you substitute the dairy in the meals listed above?

  4. Ethel says

What is the best brand of Raspberry Ketone and where do I purchase this item?

CLA raises the blood sugar. How do I use this if blood sugar is already elevated?

How can I get the receipes for each body issue?

Where do I get CLA and what is the brand? How much do I take.

No one product, diet or exercise works for all things or everybody. Could a person with big belly, big thighs, big behind, big belly and big top use all these products, diets mentioned as a combination? Would this help speed the process?

  6. Nancy says

does anyone know the name of the light that Dr. Oz gave the lady suffering from knee pain, or the name of the cream he uses on muscle aches?

  7. Lucy says

Did I miss something? He said 5 body types and right before the Raspberry Ketone segment, he was supposed to cover the meal for the “fat all over” body type. I never saw that. Even in reading the recap above, I don’t see any mention of it. Only 4 body type meals were covered!! Desperate to find out the 5th meal type.

  8. Sherry says

CLA can raise blood sugar. Not good for diabetics or people who are at risk. Typically big bellies are at risk or are already diabetic. I am going to try the diet without the CLA and see how it goes.

  9. Jason says

Raspberry Ketones..Ahhhh Everybody lets go NUTS NOW!!!!!!!! Raspberry Ketones, going to make me skinny real quick. You don’t think Dr Oz gets kick backs for all the money they are making now in Raspberry Ketones?

  12. BETTY GARCIA says

  13. Janey says

@Cora…if I’m reading this correctly, the sour cream mentioned is the lunch for someone ‘big on top’. The big belly outlined a breakfast with the CLA. Hope that helps!

  14. Gayle Applegate says

All health food stores that carry raspberry ketones are sold out in my area. You recommended 100 mg, but none of the brands I found online or that are available in stores come in 100 mg dose. At one online store, the price doubled after Dr Oz recommended it!!

  15. suzanna says

I bought “Raspberry Ketone Plus” online and it has African Mango too, it was about $40… can’t find it in health food stores… so bought online. So far i’ve lost 10lbs, so I would rate it highly

  16. Terri Armstrong says

what brand of raspberry ketones is best and how much should I take
a day? Is the powder form better than the pill?

  17. Rose says

I am also looking into the Mango Tones w/Raspberry Ketones.
I will be going to the health food store this week…is there a brand that is recommended and how much of it should be taken, how many times a day.

Thank you…I tape the Dr. Oz show everyday and find it very helpful…thank you!

  18. Jeff says

Hi just picked up Empyrean Nutrition Lipo-Sear, it has 100mg of Raspberry Ketones per capsule. Supposed to last 30-60 days. I also decided to stack it with CLA. Let’s see what happens!

  19. Jenna says

    Dr. Oz,

I too, am wondering what is the best brand for Raspberry Ketone? There are several varities. Is the pill form better than powder form? Lastly, I can only find 250mg and 500mg, is this too much and how should it be taken.

Thank you for your time and help.

  20. Shah Rogers says

Google “Raspberry Ketone Plus” from UK Evolution Slimming, their shipping is $11 USD. Aparently it works great.

  21. Rita says

just wanted to know if Lisa Lynn recommended a specific brand of Raspberry keytone. I did look it up and there are so many out there. which is the best brand.

  22. cora says

I am lactose intolerent. It would kill me to eat that sour cream in the five day diet for a big belly. Is there a subsitute for it?

  23. Sarah Britt says

I enjoy your show so much – thank you, thank you – I plan to try the Raspberry keytone. I wonder if
you could plan to address another female problem. I’ve had two mastectomies and the left
lower lobe of my lung removed because of cancer. I currently have another spot on the remaining left lung. Question – what natural treatment can be taken to help restore women as Viagra does for men. It seems after so much trauma to my body – I’ve lost the ability to feel.
I know I’m not the only woman cancer patient who feels this way.

What can help Dr. Oz.. Thanks in advance.
