Dancing with the Stars

Dancing with the Stars Results, Week 6, LIVE! Who Was “Signed, Sealed, and Delivered” to Retirement?

It’s time for the “Dancing with the Stars” results for week 6 in the competition. Whose dancing shoes will be “Signed, Sealed, and Delivered” to retirement? Last night, Motown came to Tinseltown and the dancers performed to live renditions of hits by Smokey Robinson, Martha Reeves, and the Temptations. This is what is happening right now~

A Motown medley starts the show featuring the songs “Stop in the Name of Love,” “Let’s Get It On,” and “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.” Tome BErgeron announces the musical guests tonight which include Boyz II Men, the AT&T Spotlight Performance with Natasha Bedingfield with one of the young ballerina hopefuls in America, and the Macy’s Stars of Dance group, Shaping Sound, along with the first announcements of fate.

It is revealed that Jaleel White and Kym Johnson as well as William Levy and Cheryl Burke will return next week while Maria Menounos and Derek Hough and Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are in jeopardy. The AT&T Spotlight performance tells the story of how Michaela DePrince came to be adopted and brought to the United States from Sierra Leone, West Africa and her rise to being one of the top young ballerinas in America despite a skin pigment condition. She dances beautifully, accompanied by Ade Chike Torbet from “So You Think You Can Dance” fame! Natasha Bedingfield provides the musical accompaniment with “Wild Horses.”

There are sharks in the audience from “Shark Tank!” It is Damon John and Robert Herjavec. Travis Wall is one of the choreographer/dancers in the next number by the Macy’s Stars of Dance group, Shaping Sound, as they perform a fantastic flowing story to a instrumental “Without You” by David Guetta. It was great to see Travis dancing…LOVE HIM! Boyz II Men perform “One More Dance” from their 2oth anniversary album “Twenty” and they sound better than ever! They are accompanied by Anna Trebunskaya and Dmitry Chaplin (another “So You Think You Can Dance” alum).

Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet announce the last set of couples facing elimination tonight which are Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus as well as Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower. Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd and Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas are both safe and more on to next week. Who will be the bottom two dancing for their lives tonight? We are about to find out…

Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy along with Maria Menounos and Derek Hough are safe to next week with Gladys and Tristan and Roshon and Chelsie in the dancing duel. Who will have their final dance tonight? The dance duel was the jive and both couples left it on the dance floor, not holding anything back, but personally, I was drawn more to the performance of Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower who, in the end, were saved by Bruno casting Gladys Knight and her pip, Tristan MacManus, into retirement. It is a sad loss, but it was about time because charisma can take you only so far! Carrie Ann voted for Gladys and Tristan while Len Goodman voted for Roshon and Chelsie making Bruno the “Sophie’s Choice” vote!
