Dr. Oz knows the importance women place on looking as young as possible and today he will give us a new list of products to defy our age. Oz will bring us the latest news on how we can look and feel younger and show us some great simple solutions that will take years off our appearance. In one special segment, he will show us this year’s top products from the the beauty industry. Special guests today are Dr. Joely Kauffman, Rovenia M. Brock, PhD, Katrina Szish, Didi Gluck, Kim Lyons, and Chef LaLa.
Oz has always talked about how self confidence plays a big role in how we look. A person, who is very self confident, will always exude and attitude that makes them look different from a person who is less confident. Both sexes are attracted to strong self confident personalities. Little successes in our diets and image result can result in major confidence boosting and we will look and feel better. With that said, Oz is always trying to give us little tips and changes that will have a big impact on our lives. Small steps are easier to make and will allow us to reach our goals with less effort.
A few spoilers from today’s show are: Oz’s Youth Elixer Drink and Blemish Balm Cream. For the Youth Elixer, mix 1 cup water, 1 pear, 1 Tbsp Lemon juice, 1/8 tsp turmeric, and use Stevia to sweeten. This is supposed to give you a boost and help your skin. Next is the Fountain Of Youth Shake from Dr. Rovenia Brock. Just get out your blender and add 1 cup coconut water, 2-3 wheat grass ice cubes (juice fresh wheat grass and freeze), 2 handfuls spinach, 1/2 lemon, peeled, 1 small green apple, 1 tbsp ginger, and 3 pineapple spears. Blend until smooth and drink. The coconut oil is great for moisturizing the skin and the wheat grass will help keep your body detoxified.
Oz will also talk about the benefits of Blemish Balm Cream which is widely used in Asia to keep your skin looking young and fresh. Look for Chef LaLa to give us some great new recipes. If you miss today’s show, check back here on CMR for our full recap of all the details discussed on Dr. Oz today.
