January 2, 2013 By 1 Comment

“Mobbed” returns tonight on FOX with host Howie Mandel and his unique reality series where flash mobs assist someone with a surprise revelation. There will be two new episodes airing this evening starting at 8/7C. The first is called “You Saved My Life” and the second is “Hot For Teacher.”

In the first segment, a woman (along with the help of Mandel and thousands of strangers) plans a surprise for her father to pay homage to his career as a true hero. He is a firefighter who has numerous times put his own life in jeopardy to save the life of a stranger. She wants to honor the memory of her sister who died in a car accident as well mainly through thanking her father for being there to help her through the grief. Make sure you have a box of tissues available as this will undoubtedly be a tearful mob gathering!

The second episode will feature a female teacher who has the hots for one of her co-workers and is about to let the cat out of the bag and profess her affection. Will her stunning reveal mark the beginning of a long sought relationship or will the friendship crash and burn on the rejection of a “just friends” note? Keep those tissues handy as this could turn highly emotional depending on which way the expression of sentiment is taken.

Tune in tonight with me to discover how the mobs build up to the reasons behind the surprise gestures and how everything goes down as “Mobbed” takes television by storm once more! Remember, they are only limited by the imagination and volunteer participation. Things can get pretty elaborate. It will be interesting to see what has been pulled together for these two women and their search for the expression of gratitude and love.

  1. I like how they are leading with the safe one, and I wonder if they would really air such a public rejection if the second one went sour. I think that it is great that they are honoring an individual firefighter because even though they are well respected as a group it will be nice to see an entire community honoring an individual.
