Dr. Oz, March,6, 2013, will show us how to live a longer and healthier life by just making 5 simple changes in our diet along with a new “Super Drink” we all need to take daily. Oz is always giving us supplement suggestions and diet tips and sometimes we can get overwhelmed by all the information. Today he has put together his “Super-Longevity Prescription Plan” that he says will help us get healthier.
We all know Oz is a big fan of health smoothies and he is always pushing us to make drinks that boost our energy and help us fight the battle of the bulge. Today, he is revealing a new Super Drink that he says will help us live longer and keep disease away. Will this be another version of his famous green drink or will it be something totally new? Heidi Skolnik will be returning to the show today. She is an expert in nutrition and exercise and she always has some great common sense ways to keep us in shape. One of her signature theories is that we should eat a good breakfast every morning and has pointed out in the past that people who eat breakfast are thinner than those who skip their morning meal. Another suggestion is to be active in the morning. Exercise gets our body revved up and she suggests that we do some kind of exercise for 15 minutes each morning before 7am. This seems to be a good suggestion as we have been walking on the treadmill every day here at 630am for over 2 months now. I find I have a lot more energy and don’t get the mid morning crash I used to experience about 10am now.
