American Idol had the top ten perform last night in a live show where Nicki Minaj arrived late citing traffic problems and tonight we are getting the results of the voting to see who is going home. Last night, all ten constants sang songs from past AI contestants. We saw a few shine and a few struggle but it is the voting that keeps you in this competition and anything can happen. Bon Jovi and Phillip Phillips are on hand to perform tonight. Nicki Minaj manages to make it on time also as the show opens.
We get Candice Glover, Devin Velez and Janelle Arthur are the first ones on the stage. Candice is on the top three so she is safe. Next, Kree Harrison make the top three so she is safe. Now we get some filler with Ryan Seacrest acting like a drunk geek. Charlie Askew and Aubrey Cleland are in a sing off to get a spot on the AI tour. The voting is open for them and we think it is Charlie all the way here. Th results we be announced next week.
Ok, Angela Miller beats out Lazaro Arbos for the final spot in the top three. Lazaro is fourth followed by Amber Holcomb. Janelle Arhtur seems relieved she made in 6th. Burnell was seventh and this was a shocker because he is one of the strongest contestants on our opinion. Paul Jolley squeaks by in 8th so that leaves Curtis finch Jr. and Devin Velez as the bottom two.
Devin is safe in ninth so now we see Curtis signing for his life trying to get a “save” so he can continue. He doesn’t make it so Curtis Finch Jr. is eliminated on tonight’s American Idol.
