Dr. Oz, April 29, 2013, says he has the 7 Best Ways To Blast Your Belly Fat away for good. These 7 Belly Blasters That Work will give you more energy and rev up your metabolism so you shrink those pesky pounds away from your mid section. First, Hot Pepper Jelly will boost your metabolism by 20% and it will last for 30 minutes. Oz says we need this first thing in the morning to get going and he recommends two tablespoons every day. Fat stored in our mid section is called Omentum and this is the most dangerous fat. These cells don’t multiply they just grow and shrink.
Oz’s second belly blaster is designed to shrink these cells and it is a combination of Catechin and CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid). CLA helps your cells release the fat in them and Catechin is an antioxidant that causes the body to burn fat. Oz says you need to get your CLA in a supplement and recommends taking 400mg, three times a day. He says Catechin can be found in Green Tea and says we need 2 cups every morning. The third belly blaster is Acacia Powder. Oz says this is like a diet pill without the chemicals. It comes from the bark of a tree and it is like adding a fiber kicker to any meal. Oz says sprinkle it on every meal you eat to fill you up faster but make sure you drink plenty of water or you will be bloated.
The fourth belly blaster is pickles. Yes, Oz says these are loaded with probiotics that will keep your digestion at its peak. He says use these as a snack to curb hunger and shrink the fat away. This will make you sluggish and most of us don’t drink enough water. Oz says if we eat Wet Foods during the day, we will fight dehydration and allow our body to release the stored water. Snacks are important and Oz says to chop up celery, jicama, clementines, and cashews and put them in a snack bag to carry with you all day long.
The seventh Belly Blaster is an exercise routine developed by Brett Hoebel. The workout is similar to his others and focuses on Mountain Climbers, shadow boxing, and planking. Just do core exercises for 5 minutes a day to strengthen your mid section and you will see results.
Now Oz shifts gears and gives us Beauty Detox Foods. Kimberly Snyder says food will effect our appearance and getting rid of the bad foods will make us look and feel younger. She says we need to eliminate and processed food, refined sugar, dairy, soda, artificial sweetener, and gluten foods from our diet and replace them with healthy alternatives. If you have bags under your eyes you may be dehydrated. Kim says dulce is the perfect choice for this because it is loaded with iron and potassium and will help your kidneys work properly to get rid of toxins from your body.
Oz says cabbage is high in vitamin C and he says cabbage will get rid of cortisol. He says you need to eat cabbage at least three times a week to fight crows feet and cortisol. If you have patchy skin. Kimberly says that Watercress will load you up with iron and allow your blood cells to carry more oxygen. Oz says if your skin is dull then you need to eat Beets. Beets are high in antioxidants that help clean out the liver and will also help your lymphatic system. A healthy lymphatic systems means your skin will be radiant.
Kimberly turns to cellulite and how to reduce it. Oz says cellulite is when the fat cells have pushed their way to the surface of the skin. There is no cure for this but you can reduce the appearance of cellulite with w few diet changes. Oz says Cilantro is a great herb that helps flush out toxins and it will help reduce that cottage cheese look on your legs. Oat Groats are unprocessed oats and they actually force toxins out of your fat cells. Eating more oranges, grapefruit and lemons will help keep your collagen and this is a key to having good looking skin.
Snyder says that certain foods contain “Beauty fats” and these fats will keep your skin young and healthy. She has a Walnut Meat Recipe she says will strengthen your skin and keep it from sagging. Just chop up 2 cups of walnuts in a food processor, add one tsp chili powder, one tbsp. cumin, one half tbsp coriander, two tbsp tamari, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Snyder says we need to replace our butter with Sunflower Seed Butter to reduce those age spots from our skin. Finally, Tahini will help you keep your hair thick and full.
