American Idol Results 5/2/2013: Who Goes Home Tonight? Poll

May 2, 2013 By

American Idol, May 2, 2013, will give us the results tonight but we think Kree Harrison is in big trouble here. Last week, she failed to impress us and made some terrible song choices. Kree needed to really shine last night but she just gave us an average performance and this could spell disaster for her tonight unless the fans can save her. Kree did the same song Carrie Underwood performed a couple of weeks ago for her first act and it just wasn’t that good. All I could think about was how bad this version was compared to the one I heard from Carrie a couple of weeks ago.

Kree’s second song wasn’t much better and she looked out of place with the long sleeves and dress. It just isn’t her style and the judges were on her again. This cannot be a good sign. While we are talking about the judges, what’s up with their attitude with Angie? I mean they were talking about her outfit more than her first performance and it was good. Angie totally bombs the second song, even though Nicki thinks it was great. I really think Nicki is just playing here though because there is no way any sane person could say her second song was that good.

Candice and Amber are pretty much safe as both did well this week and should have no problems advancing. We predict it to be a Kree and Angie bottom two with Angie getting to stay while Kree is eliminated. So what do you think? Please take our poll below to let us know who you think should be eliminated tonight on AI. As always, we will post our results along with the live results as we recap the show starting at 8pm eastern time. Be sure to check back here on CMR for the live results as they happen.

  1. LIZ WILLIAMS says:

tHE PRODUCERSHOULD HAVE NOT SHOWN THE CLIP OF HERE PROBLEM AT HOMR. WE ALL HAD STRONG FEELINGS ABOUT HER LOSE, BUT WE FILL LIKE THIS WAS A UNFAIR THING TO DO. SHE HAS A GOOD VOICE, BUT NOT AS GOOD AS ANGIE. I BELIEVE SHE WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN THE VOTES IF YOU ALL HAD NOT GIVEN IT TO HRE WITH THE CLIP YOU RAN.

  2. Amber will probably go home tonight – and this, only because; demographically there are more suburban and country white girls who will vote off someone too dark for their “taste.” There, I said it – and I am white, but the voting demographic of a bunch of hormone laden 15 y/o white girls who will vote, 1) for a white potential mate and, 2) for anyone who fits their $60K ranch home or trailer park demographic will dominate based on potential imaginary lovers or friends over a georgeous and exceedingly well prepared Amber. Sorry, little Princess, but don’t absorb their jealousy – just invest your earnings later and let them hate your every concert… You’ll do well in the non-texting but artistic and financially savvy market. ;-)

  3. Kree had a mixed night, which is why she might be in trouble during Thursday’s elimination round. I work at DISH and several of my friends there agree that it could be difficult for her to rally, but it all depends on if she has a strong enough voting bloc. I missed some of last night’s episode, but caught up with it this morning since it was recorded on my DISH Hopper. I never need to worry about missing American Idol after I set my DVR to record it, as well as everything else on FOX during primetime.
