The Voice finished up the last of the blind auditions last night and the teams are complete. We have 48 singers ready to duke it out in the battle rounds starting next week and CMR will be covering them live. Battle rounds start on October 14. Christina has patched together a team consisting of mostly female voices and we think this could hurt her in the long run. She seems to want everyone to know she is back with a vengeance and has been fighting hard to get the singers she wants.
Blake has departed from his Country themes of past seasons. He wanted a Country winner and he got it last year so he is hedging his bets with a team full of diversity. CeeLo is continuing to stick to his roots by choosing artists that are very unique. Hopefully, this will work out for him this year! Adam Levine continued to sound like a “Used Car Salesman” on steroids this year and you have to love his sales pitches that highlight his charm and the ability to make a contestant feel like they are special. He took quite a few artists away from the others and he has a pretty strong team.
Here are the team lineups:
Team Christina consists of Matthew Schuler, Josh Logan, Jacob Poole, Michael Lynch, Jacquie Lee, Destinee Quinn, Briana Cuoco, Lina Gaudenzi, Timyra-Joi, Amber Nicole, Stephanie Anne Johnson and Olivia Henken.
Team Adam has Tessanne Chin, James Wolpert, Preston Pohl, Nic Hawk, Donna Allen, Barry Black, Justin Blake, Ashley Dubose, James Irwin, Will Champlin, Grey and Matt Cermanski.
Team CeeLo is made up of Shawn Smith, Jonny Gray, Lupe Carroll, Caroline Pennell, Anthony Paul, George Horga Jr., Juhi, Kat Robichaud, Cole Vosbury, R. Anthony, Keaira LaShae and Tamara Chauniece.
Team Blake has Holly Henry, Ray Boudreaux, Monika Leigh, Shelbie Z, Austin Jenckes, E. G Daily, Cilla Chan, Sam Cerniglia, Emily Randolph, Justin Chain, Brian Pounds and Brandon Chase.
So what do you think of the four teams? Let us know by leaving a comment below. Check back here next week for our live recap of the Battle rounds Starting October 14.
