Dancing With the Stars, 11/26/2013, finale was just as grand a spectacle as it always has been, even with the reduction of the 2 day format this year. It was a showdown between Jack Osbourne, Corbin Bleu, and Amber Riley. Both guys had to really be impressive tonight in the 24 hour fusion dance and they were with each getting a score of 27/30. The juggernaut named Amber was not fazed as she got a perfect 30/30. Can the fans votes catapult one of the guys ahead of Amber?
Our own CMR poll showed Amber was the decisive favorite to win the Mirror Ball Trophy. The star studded two hour show gave us performances from Enrique Iglesias, Ylvis, and Lady Antebellum. As the cast waits. Jack Osbourne is announced as the third place winner. He should be proud here as he has improved all year long.
It was down to Corbin Bleu and Amber Riley. Corbin is told that he is the second place finisher, just like our readers predicted. Amber Riley is the 2013 Dancing With The Stars Champion.
DWTS has had its ratings troubles this year and in recent years. The 1 day format has taken a lot of the suspense out of the show. I believe that this season would have been a ratings boom for the show if the format had stayed the same as previous seasons. When this season began, there was no single standout that everyone would have have predicted to be the winner. If the show keeps getting talent that are pretty much equal in talent and appeal, we could see a revival of DWTS in the future.
