Dr. Oz Show Today: Corydalis Is Natural Cure For Chronic Pain

Dr. Oz, January 28, 2014, had new natural remedies for pain today and his newest discovery is Corydalis to control chronic pain in a non addictive way with no side effects. We all have our aches and pains. From Migraines to a stiff back, our pain has us reaching for Over The counter Medications and sometimes more powerful Prescription Meds that could have negative side effects on our overall health. Oz has always talked about how natural pain solutions are the best ones. Today, he gives us a few ways to treat our pains naturally with no side effects.

Magnesium For Migraines
Oz says that most people who suffer from Migraines have a Magnesium Deficiency. He says this is the main reason that these headaches become so unbearable. The solution is a simple one and that is to get your daily dose of Magnesium. Oz says taking Magnesium Citrate Supplement, 400 to 600mg per day, will keep the migraines away. Oz says this has been proven in various studies.

Corydalis Cures Chronic Pain
Oz is always looking at nontraditional sources to treat our daily problems. He says Corydalis, also known as Chinese Poppy, has been used for centuries to treat pain. New studies are turning American doctors into believers that this natural product can do the job of eliminating chronic pain without your body building up tolerance and with no negative side effects. This “Game Changer” as Oz calls it, contains DHCB which is a known powerful natural pain killer.

Dr. Daniel Hsu says that he has seen great results in his patients when using Corydalis to treat back and spine pain and even severe menstrual cramps. There is one warning and that is that this product is not for pregnant women or people who have irregular heart beats. Oz recommends you take 3 to 9 grams of this a day. You can get it in a pill form or you can buy granules to dissolve in water. Your body will not build up a tolerance for this supplement so you won’t have to keep taking more and more to get the same results like you do with some regular pain killers.

Oz has done many shows on natural pain relief. Last season, he even had Ashley Koff on the show to talk about a new Pain Diet. He even gave us 7 Ways To fight Pain naturally way back in 2012.

I found corydalis at the naturopaths office. I knew he did acupuncture and had an interest in Chinese medicine. My question how much should I take at a time and how often. Dr. Oz says six to eight grams of granules, but I’m not sure how much that is. I tried to two tsps. in half a cup of hot water. It has helped, not ended, my pain. The taste isn’t awful, just kind of earthy.

I wish I would have know this 6 years ago I have choronic Back pain and I’m on Fentanyl 50 mg patches every 48-72 hours. Last Monday I had to go to the Emergency room for Opiate withdrawal and I have never had any thing that felt so bad. It was worse then the pain. I wouldn’t wish that feeling on my worse enemy. I may switch to that if Corydalis if its not to expensive and if I’m able to get it locally. Thanks for listen!
