Doctor Oz, 2/7/2014, says he has found the secret to turning your fat on itself so you can finally shed those extra pounds easily. Oz also promises to show us ways to get calcium if we have eliminated dairy from our diet. Now is it really possible to get your body’s fat stores to actually turn on themselves? From the preview, we can see Oz is focusing on MUFA’s or Monounsaturated Fatty Acids. You get them from foods like Avocados and Olive Oil. We all know how Dr. Oz says we need these fats in out diet to be healthy.
Last Season, Oz gave us his 21 Day Diet plan and it included MUFA’s. You can get these healthy fats from almond butter, smooth and crunch natural peanut butter, dry roasted cashews, cashew butter, dry roasted sun flower seeds, roasted pumpkin seeds, dry roasted peanuts, brazil nuts, walnuts, pine nuts, almonds, macadamia nuts, pecans, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. Now we know why Oz eats most of these foods regularly.
Also on the show today, Oz will talk to those of us who have eliminated dairy from their diet. Dairy is usually the main source of calcium. When we eliminate it, we are in danger of getting too little calcium to support our body. Oz will give out a list of foods that will help us get our calcium naturally and without the need of taking a supplement. From past episodes, we know that we can get calcium from foods like Sardines, Canned Salmon, Almonds, Oranges, Soy Milk, and Tofu. Oz will give us lots more today so be sure to watch the show.
