Many times when a person is suffering from addiction, they will attempt to deny their situation or the fact that they addicted to something. Most addictions of this nature pertain to both legal and illegal drugs, such as alcohol, prescription medicine, and opiates. If you see a loved one or something who appears to be suffering from addiction, they need help.
In order to help identify whether or not your friends or loved ones have an addiction they need help with, there are several signs that can help. Some of these signs are red eyes or dilated pupils, a change in eating habits, rapid weight loss or malnourishment, and depending on the type of drug, the afflicted may either become over-active or under-active.
