Talladega Nights Tops Weekend Box Office

Los Angeles (CMR) - Will Ferrell’s latest movie took the checkered flag this weekend, finishing at #1.

Talladega Nights, a comedic take on NASCAR racing, raked in more than US$47 million at the box office.

Barnyard, the new animated children’s flick came in a distant second, with $15 million.

Pirates of the Caribbean juggernaut just keeps rolling, coming in at #3 with $11 million.
