Los Angeles (CMR) - Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest smashed box office records with a huge opening weekend, taking in US$132 million in its first three days.

The previous record for top opening weekend was held by Spiderman 2.

Depending on the films success, Disnay may have a massive money making franchise on their hands.
