Transformers Sets Box Office Record

Los Angeles (CMR) – Transformers set a box office record after its first day of release in theatres.

The feature film grossed over US$27million on Tuesday, shattering the last record of US$15.7 million set by Pirates Of The Caribean: Dead Man’s Chest on July 11th 2006.

The film which is based on the 1980′s cartoon is hooping that success will lead to a possible franchise.
