No People At People’s Choice Awards

Los Angeles (CMR) - The 34th annual People’s Choice Awards were held last night, well sort of.

Hosted by Queen Latifah in a newsmagazine format, the show differed from other years because there were no stars in attendance thanks to the ongoing writer’s strike.

Johnny Depp and Reese Witherspoon were named top stars and they accepted awards in prerecorded speeches. Justin Timberlake won for favorite singer.

Hopfuly by the time the Academy Awards roll aruond in Feb, the 5-month long strike will be over.
