Variety.com reports that with the success of the first Alvin and the Chipmunks feature film, Twentieth Century Fox has decided to go with Chipmunks To Hit the Big Screen Again a sequel

New York (CMR) - Variety.com reports that with the success of the first Alvin and the Chipmunks feature film, Twentieth Century Fox has decided to go with“Chipmunks” To Hit the Big Screen Again a sequel to the family hit about the singing trio of chipmunks.

Although a release date of March 19, 2010 has already been set, the movie doesn’t have a script or even a concept yet.

Also, My Name is Earl star, Jason Lee, has yet to sign on to reprise his role as the chipmunks’ manager, Dave Seville.

However, the first movie did manage to pull in a hefty $358.4 million worldwide.
