DWTS Recap: Will Kristi Take The Title?

Los Angeles (CMR) - Kristi has managed to stay on top for most of this season’s Dancing With the Stars. Mix her athletic abilities with the dancing skills that came so naturally, throw in her competitive nature along with her sweet personality and it seems like she’s got the title in the bag.
But can Jason or Cristián pull off an upset?
From the beginning of the season, I had hoped that Kristi and Jason would be in the finals. But I didn’t think Cris stood a chance – until his injury two weeks ago. It really shows the kind of person you are, after suffering an injury like he has. He’s risking permanent damage to his arm by staying in the competition but he’s determined to stick it out. You can call Cristián stupid or call him admirable, but he was a middle-of-the-pack dancer for most of the season, and now Cristián deserves some props for peaking at the right time.
Next week, they get to perform a freestyle dance. Personally, I’ve never really loved the freestyles – with the exception of second season winners, Drew and Cheryl’s western-themed dance. They always look way too amateurish and never seem to incorporate enough of what they had learned throughout the season.
Cheryl’s choreography has been fabulous, historically speaking, and she has really worked wonders with her and Cris’ dances during his injured weeks, making it seem like there is no injury at all. This is Edyta and Mark’s first times in the finals. Edyta’s will be beautiful and sexy and will no doubt showcase her chemistry with Jason. And I have a feeling Mark’s choreography will be fast and frantic and packed with tricks and spins, so I’m most looking forward to his performance with Kristi.
Who will win?
