Get Smart Tops Box Office

Los Angeles (CMR) - The top of the box office this week goes to Get Smart, which stars Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway.
The movie grossed an estimated $39.2 million.
Warner Bros. was hoping for somewhere between $30 - $35 million so it was just above their projections.
“Get Smart” is a remake of the classic television spy spoof with Steve Carell playing the lead role of Maxwell Smart, a secret agent, and Anne Hathaway is Barbara Feldon his sidekick, Agent 99.
The second and third spots went to Kung Fu Panda with $21.7 million and The Incredible Hulk with $21.6 million.
Mike Meyer’s new comedy, The Love Guru, didn’t fair very well and was a disappointing fourth with only $14 million.
