‘Variety reports that Relativity Media has picked up the rights to the epic fantast novel Acacia: The War with The Mein by David Anthony Durham.

Los Angeles (CMR) - Variety reports that Relativity Media has picked up the rights to the epic fantast novel “Acacia: The War with The Mein” by David Anthony Durham.

The adaptation for the first film of the planned trilogy will be done by Andrew Grant.

The story will begin after the King is assassinated and Acacia is taken over by the Mein tribe.

Ryan Kavanaugh will produce with Michael De Luca.

The book has had a huge response throughout the world since its release in June 2007.
