New York (CMR) - According to Hollywood.com, The National Enquirer reports that the latest star eyed to join the next Batman film is none other than Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest star, Johnny Depp.
Producers aren’t worried about wooing the 45-year-old Oscar Award-nominated actor because of the recent worldwide success the film’s latest instalment, The Dark Knight, saw at the box office.
The role rumoured to be filled by Depp is the villainous Riddler.
The studio is also hoping to recruit Oscar Award-winning Capote star, Philip Seymour Hoffman to play the Penguin.
