Stars Defend Tropic Thunder

Los Angeles (CMR) – Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes joined the stars of ‘Tropic Thunder’ on the red carpet in Los Angeles for the film’s premiere.
But the event was overshadowed by protesters who feel the new comedy makes fun of people with intellectual disabilities.
The movie mocks actors who play disabled people in hopes of winning an Oscar.
Star and director Ben Stiller says the film was not intended to be offensive.
Tropic Thunder hits theatres on Wednesday.
