Robert De Niro, veteran actor and star of “Meet The Fockers”, is unsure if the third installment of the “Focker” franchise, “Meet The Little Fockers”, will be a success. He said, “I don’t know if I can say it’s the best one, that’s for the audience to decide – but we’re having fun.” The film will bring back Ben Stiller and Teri Polo as the lead characters again and will focus on their children. Paul Weitz will be directing this film and it is scheduled for a 2010 release date.
De Niro also talked about how his own children are not too impressed with their father’s career and don’t talk much about his work. Robert stated, “My kids aren’t too impressed with me. They don’t say very much about my career. Sometimes they Google me, though. And who knows what their friends say?” The veteran actor thinks the reason for his children’s lack of interest is because he did not raise them inside the “Hollywood Bubble” saying, “We had a house there, my first wife and our oldest kids. But I never really lived in it much. I like to visit Los Angeles., but I wouldn’t want to live there.” De Niro has 4 children and one adopted daughter.

Wow, that,s not incouraging when one of the directors/actors says he doesn’t know if a movie will be successful. I didn’t think it would be anyway, because the second one was terrible, but the first one was great! Why do they keep making movies when people are tired of them?? I didn’t care for Night at the Museum 2 either, yet they are saying there will be a third one. Let me guess, Ben Stiller gets a job in another museum-where all his friends were moved to AGAIN?? Let’s get real, kids are smart now a days they are not stupid. C’mon Ben. Do something different and GOOD!

Got something to say?
