Ving Rhames might not have been fully paid for his latest movie “Red Canvas.” A lawsuit he filed in Los Angeles Superior Court says that he only received $175,000 of a $200,000 contracted payment amount for his role in the movie. He claims that Red Canvas Productions and Kenneth Chamitoff put a stop payment on the final $25,000 check. So far, there has been no statement from Chamitoff as to why they might have done that.
Ving Rhames is well known for his work in Pulp Fiction, where he played the role of Marsellus Wallace. Since then he has played numerous TV parts, as well as several notable movie parts, such as the role of Luther Stickell in Mission: Impossible which came out in 1996.
Kenneth Chamitoff is an actor who has acted in A Matter of Justice and Steele Justice. He is the writer, director, producer and an actor in the movie Red Canvas, for which Rhames has allegedly not been fully paid.
