Roof of the Sony Building Collapses Over Jersey Shore Cast Members

Many were attending an event at the Sony Building, celebrating the Jewish Holiday of Purim, which is celebrated on the 14th day of the Hebrew month of Adar. This is the day following the victory of the Jewish people against their enemies.

Fire officials say that lots of snow and ice built up on top of the 32nd floor where it then fell on Saturday night during the party. Many people attending said it sounded like plates were being broken but in truth two glass panels in the lobby were shattered around the guests.

Reports indicate that 10 people had minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was attending this event with her friends and fellow cast member Vinny Guadagnino and right after the event Snooki tweeted “Omg roof just collapsed at the purim event ! We thought the dj was beatin the beat hardcore but nope, the roof couldn’t handle snooki and vin.”
