Killers Offend Greenday

Los Angeles (CMR) - Killers frontman Brandon Flowers takes on Green Day in a new interview in the NME.
Flowers says he was offended by the band’s decision to include a performance of the song “American Idiot” from a concert in the UK on their DVD.
“You have Green Day and ‘American Idiot’. Where do they film their DVD? In England,” The Killers’ frontman told The Word. ”
Flowers says the British audience’s enthusiastic reaction to the song was – and we quote, “a very negative thing for Americans.”
