Amy Winehouse Avoids Charges

February 22, 2008 · Print This Article

London (CMR) - It was announced today that Amy Winehouse will not face further charges in connection with her husband’s current legal drama involving obstruction of justice, TMZ reported Friday.

The troubled singer, who appears to be working towards recovery, got the good news just days after her hearing in a Norwegian court on drug charges was postponed.

Meanwhile, Winehouse took home five Grammys last Sunday night. The British singer, who performed via satellite from London because her U.S. visa came through too late, seemed shocked with her wins, including New Artist of the Year and Record of the Year.

Amy thanked her family and of course her jailed hubby Blake who she referred to as “incarcerated.”
