Los Angeles (CMR) - The votes are in, and Brooke White has been voted off American Idol.

Brooke, 24, had another tough week with another sub par performance.

Since there are (were) only five contestants remaining, each Idol hopeful was able to sing two songs this week.

For her first song, Brooke sang “I’m a Believer” which Simon referred to as a “nightmare.”

White did managed to come out with a strong second performance which was praised by all the judges.

“I just want to say thank you. It’s going to be terrible for me right now,” White said before singing “I Am, I Said” by this week’s guest mentor, Neil Diamond.

Syesha Mercado received the second lowest amount of votes

The final four contestants include David Cook, Syesha Mercardo, Jason Castro, and the David Archuleta.
