Rapper Lil Wayne Toughing It Out In Prison

Rapper Lil Wayne is just s few days into his year long jail stay from gun related charges. A source from the Rikers Island correctional facility says there have been no major altercations while the Rapper has been there. Wayne is said to be given no special treatment while he is there. Our source, who declined to have his name printed, says there have only been a couple of minor incidents that are just common everyday happenings at a prison. Wayne is serving a one year jail term for a 2007 gun possession charge and could be released after 8 months for good behavior. Wayne has been delayed from starting his sentence two times. The first delay was when a judge ordered the rapper to undergo dental surgery to remove valuable diamonds from his teeth. The second delay was when the courthouse caught fire on the day Lil Wayne was to turn himself in.
