Kiefer Sutherland Released From Prison

Los Angeles (CMR) - Kiefer Sutherland was released from jail just after midnight on Sunday, CNN reported.

The 24 star spent 48 days behind bars for a second DUI conviction and for violating his probation.

A prison official said that Sutherland was a model prisoner, and worked on laundry duty during his stay.

Kiefer will be on probation for five years and have to complete an alcohol education program.

Sutherland is expected to begin shooting for the new season of 24 in a few weeks.
