Jessica Simpson Movie Sets New Box Office Record

Los Angeles (CMR) - Maybe Jessica Simpson should have promoted her new movie “Blonde Ambition” on her MySpace page.
On the movie’s opening day, only 48 people attended the flick, and you’d think Jessica Simpson would have at least 48 friends willing to check out her film.
Mind you, it opened in only eight theatres, but all of them were in Simpson’s home state of Texas.
The movie portrays Jessica as a girl from Oklahoma who climbs the corporate ladder at a construction company.
It set an all-time low record with an opening day gross of US$384.
