Model Naomi Campbell Recently Hospitalized

New York - Last February 24, Sunday, British beauty and supermodel Naomi Campbell was brought to the Hospital Sirio-Libanes in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

The 37 year old supermodel was rushed to the emergency room on Sunday night, and was reported to have undergone a laparoscopic surgery.

The surgery is one that is usually performed on the abdominal area.

The doctor who performed the emergency procedure on Monday night was Dr. Jose Aristodemo Pinotti, but he refused to elaborate further on the reasons behind the procedure.

Some sources claim that a cyst was found in Naomi Campbell’s body, and needed to be removed. There was no confirmation for this news. However, the doctors explain that she has been recovering well. These reports were released in the local Brazilian paper, Globo news.

Naomi Campbell remained at the Hospital Sirio-Libanes for five days and was released on Friday, February 29.

The model was said to have been a regular tourist in the country, where she attends several events and meets with Brazilian models and celebrities.

The supermodel is engaged with Marcus Elias, a 49 year old businessman from Brazil. The wealthy financier was also reported by the Brazilian media to have frequently visited Campbell during her hospital stay.
