Grammy winner and Latina sensation Jennifer Lopez gave birth on February 22 to twins. She and husband Marc Anthony have reportedly given their new babies the names Emme and Max. The new baby names were confirmed by Lopez’ manager Simon Fields, according to People Magazine.

Baby Emme was born first, and she weighed 5 pounds and 7 ounces. Her twin brother, Max, followed 15 minutes later and he weighed 6 pounds. The twin babies were born at a Long Island Hospital in New York; however, the name of the hospital is still unknown. Jennifer Lopez was 39 at the time of birth, and her husband was 38. Marc Anthony has three children already, a 14 year old daughter from ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado, and 7 year old and 4 year old sons from ex-wife former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were wed in 2004. On February 21, the couple was given awards at the Premio Lo Nuestro for Latin music. The father of the proud new mom claimed that twins do run in their family. Jennifer Lopez can be remembered from hit films such as “Maid in Manhattan”, “Monster in Law”, “Out of Sight,” and many more.
