Los Angeles (CMR) - “Who wants to be MY new best friend?” is the question that the Hollywood socialite, Paris Hilton, hurls out to the 20 men and women competing in an MTV reality show in lieu to her upcoming series this year.

Among the 20 who joined the reality show; one will be chosen to take the role of being her new BBF in the said series.

The new series, as revealed by Hilton in one of her conference, is composed of 10 episodes with a working title as “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF”.

The production will start this May in Los Angeles and according to a source; it will be aired in the fourth quarter of the year.

The competition is between the members of Hilton’s so called entourage and those who aspire to be a BFF must submit his or her name to BFF official web site where the competition will be decided by online voting.

The top 20 who will emerge from the aspirants will live in house with Paris Hilton, in which, they will learn Hilton’s art of fashion, parties and shopping from the master herself.

And what does it take to be Hilton’s new BFF?

Paris Hilton, herself, gave the press her own criteria - someone that she can just trust, someone who’s not going to stab her in the back like has happened a lot in her town, someone she can have fun with. Although she has already Nicole Richie as her BFF, she still thought that if a new celebrity feud heats up from this reality show, it can really push a new series to come out.
