Wolverine Actor Sets out on a Comic Book Quest

London (CMR) – Leading man and Australian sensation Hugh Jackman, who is best known for is role as Wolverine of the X-Men, has collaborated with Virgin Comics to release a new series of comic books entitled, “Nowhere Man.” This was following a report from Reuters on March 25, Tuesday.
The comic book series will be co-written by Jackman, as well as Marc Guggenheim, who had comic hits such as Wolverine and the Amazing Spider-Man under his belt. The “Nowhere Man” comics will have a futuristic theme, where humans “traded their privacy for safety and security,” according to Reuters.
Hugh Jackman can be remembered for other blockbuster roles aside from his mutant identity on the X-Men movie series. He starred in “Kate and Leopold” as well as led the cast in the gothic thriller “Van Helsing.” He also had leading ladies who were Oscar winners, such as Halle Berry on “Swordfish” and Rachel Weisz in the recent release, “The Fountain.”
Jackman is currently working on the next installment of the X-Men movies in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” which is set to be released in May of 2009, and was directed by Gavin Hood. Other mutants to meet in this film are Sabretooth and Gambit. Stan Lee and David Benioff were the writers for this movie.
