Los Angeles (CMR) - Remy Ma might be trading in her two tone weave for prison stripes.
The rapper was convicted of four counts this morning, including two counts of first-degree assault, attempted coercion and criminal possession of a weapon.
The charges stem from an incident in 2007 when Ma shot a friend in New York City’s Meatpacking District. She accused the friend of stealing $3,000 but said the shooting was an accident.
Though if you put a bullet in someone, maybe that friendship isn’t meant to be.
The rapper, who’s worked with Eminem and Busta Rhymes. could face between five and 25 years in prison.
Ma cried out ‘Oh my god’ after the verdict was given,
She was nominated for a Grammy as part of the Terror Squad for the 2004 hit Lean Bac.
