Los Angeles (CMR) -The early death of Playboy model Anna Nicole Smithhas inspired a new operatic production.

Bang Media reports that Smith’s life story will be told through an opera at London’s Royal Opera House.

Mark-Anthony Turnage is creating a score which Richard Thomas is scripting words for.

Smith’s turbulent life hit its peak in September 2006 when she gave birth to baby Danielynn.

A few days later her son Daniel died of a drug overdose. Five months thereafter, the model also passed away from a drug overdose.

Thomas explains that the story will end there—“For me, it ends when she does.

It’s an American story. I love American culture. Especially for opera, the stories seem to work on grander, more epic scale.”
