New York (CMR) - Following a recent rumour that Drumline star, Nick Cannon, and singer Mariah Carey are engaged, Perez Hilton reports that the giant rock on Carey’s finger was originally given to Cannon’s ex-fiancée, Victoria’s Secret model Selita.

A friend of Cannon’s ex said, “That IS the same ring.”

Though neither party have confirmed their engagement, a source close to Carey told Access Hollywood that they are indeed headed for a walk down the aisle together.

This would be the 38-year-old singer’s second marriage as she was previously attached to music executive Tommy Mottola.

Canon, 27, never made it down the aisle with Selita, which means that this will be his first marriage.
