Los Angeles (CMR) - 24 star, Kiefer Sutherland, is legally single.

The 41-year-old The Sentinel actor separated from ex-wife Elizabeth Sutherland nine years ago, filed the divorce documents four years ago, and was finally granted an official divorce last Friday.

According to People.com, a Superior Court judge approved of the estranged couple’s request to dissolve their marriage and also granted Elizabeth’s move to drop her ex-husband’s last name.

The pair originally cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their break-up.
