Jon Favreau to Direct Iron Man 2?

Arlington (CMR) - Jon Favreau hasn’t been brought on board for “Iron Man 2” even with the release date of the movie being set for April 2010.
Favreau announced on his My Space blog that he hasn’t had any contact with Marvel in 5 weeks.
He is concerned that there won’t be enough time to meet this release date when neither himself or Robert Downey Jr. have been contacted and there isn’t a script, story or writers in place.
Iron Man is based on the comic book series and is about Tony Stark who is heir to a huge fortune.
He takes care of his fortune during the day and by night he is Iron Man, fighting crime, espionage and terrorism.
“Iron Man” has been out in theatres since May and has been doing extremely well.
