Los Angeles (CMR) - Writer Anthony Peckham has been brought on board by Warner Bros. to adapt an Olen Steinhauer novel into a movie starring George Clooney.

“The Tourist” is a contemporary international thriller about a spy who risks everything to reveal a conspiracy after he’s accused of a murder he didn’t commit.

Clooney is to produce alongside Smoke House Production’s partners Nina Wolarsky and Grant Heslov.

He will next be seen in “Burn After Reading” directed by the Coen brothers.
