Nicole Kidman and husband, Keith Urban welcomed their first child into the world on Monday.

New York (CMR) - Nicole Kidman and husband, Keith Urban welcomed their first child into the world on Monday.

Their daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban was born Monday morning in Nashville, Tennessee weighing 6lbs 7.5oz.

The news was posted on Keith Urban website with a comment from Keith saying “We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.”

Kidman has two adopted children, Isabella, 15 and Conner, 13, from her marriage with Tom Cruise. Nicole wasn’t able to get pregnant while married to Tom Cruise and made this comment to Vanity Fair earlier this year.

“From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. I think I would be very sad if I wasn’t able to have a baby. Keith knows I want one, and he has been getting there slowly.”
