Los Angeles (CMR) – Finally, someone is talking about their relationship with Nick Jonas around here and we’re happy to report it’s not Lou Pearlman.
Miley Cyrus, the most powerful force in the universe, surpassing even gravity and Super Mario, admits to Seventeen magazine that she dated the youngest Jonas bro for two agonizing years.
“Nick and I loved each other,” she says with surprising candour and unsurprising teen angst. “We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn’t fun.”
Hopefully that was just his diabetes raging. The 15-year-old said he went through severe mood swings until he was diagnosed with Type One diabetes at age 13 to the point where he would throw tantrums if his tour bus didn’t stop at Pizza Hut. Maybe Jennifer Lopez should get checked for diabetes.
While the relationship devolved into a series of spats, in the beginning, things were really quite sweet. Nick sought Miley out and, in an admirably aggressive move, confessed he had a crush on her. “I think you’re beautiful and I really like you,” Nick told Miley the first time he met her. “And I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I like you so much,’” Miley told him. And just like that a tween supercouple was spawned.
When the relationship ended, Miley bleached her hair black and set sail on the crying jag to end all crying jags. “At first I bawled for a month straight,” she says. “I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk.” But now she is sooo over him. “Maybe he’ll be my best friend for the rest of my life or maybe I’ll end up marrying Nick Jonas,” she says. Ok, so maybe not that over him.
