Who Knew Pitt’s a “Bastard”?

New York (CMR) – Variety.com reports that “Troy” star, Brad Pitt, has inked a deal to star in director Quentin Tarantino’s WWII flick, “Inglorious Bastards”. The new drama will in large part be in French or German, although subtitles will be provided.

The 44-year-old “Ocean’s Twelve” star, however, will play his role as a Tennessee hillbilly in English. Pitt’s character unites eight Jewish-American soldiers to fight against the Nazis.

“Town & Country” actress, Nastassja Kinski is in negotiations to join the cast to portray a German movie queen.

Production is scheduled to begin this October in Germany.
