Peter Segal to Direct Warhogs

New York (CMR) – Peter Segal, director of “Get Smart”, will be directing an action-comedy for MGM called “Wardogs”.

Segal will also be producing the film along with his Callahan FIlmworks partner Michael Ewing and Andrew Lazar.

The plot has not been revealed yet but Lazar did say that “it’s an action ensemble comedy in the vein of “Ocean’s Eleven”, where the casting becomes an event” and Ewing added “It is a bunch of these terrific actors getting together and having a good time‚ it’s that kind of thing.”

The script for the film was written by Ken Kaufman (“Space Cowboys” and “The Missing”) and Big Canyon’s David Agosto.
