Simon Pegg Not a Bastard

August 21, 2008 · Print This Article

Simon Pegg announced on his MySpace page that due to scheduling conflicts he won’t be able to appear in Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglorious Bastards” film.

Pegg states “Much to our mutual disappointment, I won’t be appearing in QT’s forthcoming Inglorious Bastards due to insurmountable scheduling difficulties.

We really tried to make it work but in the end, it just was not possible without severe ramifications elsewhere.

I’m trying to remain upbeat, as Tom Selleck said ‘Who the hell is Indiana Jones anyway?’”

This other news Pegg announced should be just what he needs to keep upbeat.

His upcoming collaboration with Nick Frost called “Paul” will be directed by Greg Mottola, the director of “Superbad”.

“Paul” is about a couple of British guys who are comic books geeks and hit the road on an adventure across America.

No release date has been set for this film.
